Subject: Gavel Club Renewal and Registration Update
Dear Counselors,
Toastmasters International has resolved the technical issues related to club renewals and registrations. You may now
proceed with renewing your existing Gavel Clubs or registering new ones.
Please note the following important points:
Renewal Process: If your club has not been renewed for the past two years, it will need to be registered again as a new club.
Renewal Fees:
Global Clubs: $125 USD
Indian Clubs: $147.50 USD (inclusive of 18% GST)

MADAN CHAUHAN , DTM, GROUP-K CHAIRPERSON
At 85, Madan Chauhan, DTM, exemplifies energy and passion for growth. A Toastmaster since 2010, he achieved his Distinguished Toastmaster title at 80. He is a counselor for MCBP Gavel Club since 2014 and has earned multiple awards, including the Spirit of District 86 and MMAD (Member Making A Difference) honors.
A staunch supporter of youth, he believes today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Beyond Toastmasters, Madan is a professional Financial Advisor of 22 years, with a Finance degree earned at 62. He has over 30 years of experience as a computer consultant and holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from England.
Madan’s life is a testament to lifelong learning and making a difference at every stage.
TM MIKE SHRESTHA- GROUP -K, VICE CHAIRPERSON
Mike Shrestha is an accomplished Real Estate Broker, Property Management Consultant, and celebrated author. He is a dynamic professional dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community growth. His book, "Effective Public Speaking and Communication Skills," has inspired countless readers to excel in communication and personal development.
A committed Toastmaster, Mike has been instrumental in establishing and nurturing several clubs. Mike's dedication to youth and community development is evident through his role as a Counselor for the Bramalea Gavel Club and his active involvement with the Rotary.

Announcement of New Global Group-L for USA Clubs
We are pleased to announce the formation of a new group for our USA clubs, due to the growing number of clubs within Group-K (Canada). The newly designated group will be known as Global Group-L.
We are delighted to share that TM Diana Wiggin s will serve as the Group Chairperson, and TM Sally Lin-Lutz will take on the role of Vice Chairperson. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to both as they join the GYGC Executive Team.
We look forward to the continued growth and success of our Gavel Clubs.
TM DIANA WIGGINS, GROUP-L CHAIRMAN
Diana Wiggins, a Northern California native, has had a diverse career, including 23 years in construction management and a decade as an accountant at the University of California, Davis. A passionate leader from a young age, she has been deeply involved in youth leadership, including managing the Norwood 4-H Club and leading the establishment of the Cedar Park 4-H Gavel Club in Texas, which now boasts 194 members.
A certified public speaker since 2014, Diana joined District 55 Toastmasters in 2016 to refine her skills, earning numerous awards and completing multiple pathways. Currently, she serves as District 55's Area K Director and remains active in various Toastmasters roles, while continuing to support and expand youth leadership programs.
TM SALLY LIN-LUTZ , GROUP-L VICE CHAIRPERSON
Sally Lutz, joined Toastmasters in 2015, is currently serving as Counselor of CFS Youth Gavel Club. The first meeting was on September 8th, 2016, at a local homeschool co-op (Christian Family School) in California. In the 2022-23 school year, Sally Lutz expanded the program to include 4th to 8th graders. This expansion grew the club from 18 students to 46 students. This CFS Youth Gavel Club gives the local homeschooling families a chance of practicing public speaking skills with a safe and fun setting. Sally is looking forward to serving the U.S. region as a co-chair by connecting and networking with various club counselors.

TM Sathya Jayaraman,
New Group-C Vice Chairperson
TM Sathya Jayaraman is a dedicated public speaking enthusiast with a deep passion for speech contests. As the Counselor of the SSM Stars Gavel Club in Chennai, Sathya has been instrumental in nurturing and guiding young speakers.
With a robust background in the IT industry, boasting 23 years of experience, Sathya brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to any discussion. Outside of his professional and Gavel Club activities, he is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying badminton, cricket, and football. A true movie buff, Sathya is also addicted to music, which adds a harmonious balance to his dynamic personality.
TM TARUN BHARGAVA
GROUP-E VICE CHAIRPERON
We are pleased to nominate TM Tarun Bhargava as the new Vice Chairperson of Group-E. We would like to thank present Vice Chairperson TM Murali for his dedicated efforts.
TM Tarun Bhargava has emerged as a distinguished leader in program management, product development, and team leadership, honed over a remarkable 25-year journey in the IT industry. About a decade ago, he realized that his life's purpose is to contribute to education reforms and enhance industry readiness.
Currently, Tarun serves as a Career and Leadership Coach, dedicated to helping students and youth scientifically discover and prepare for careers that align with their personality, interests, and skills.
A committed Toastmaster for 13 years in the Delhi/NCR region, Tarun has been serving as a counselor for the Noida Gavel Club since June 2023. He looks forward to engaging meaningfully and productively in this noble cause, fostering growth and development in the next generation..
